Winning Scotland Foundation
PCS is the flagship programme of Winning Scotland Foundation, an independent, business-led charity which is working to create a positive winning attitude throughout Scotland.
It is proven that winning at anything can be learnt and that you can get into the habit of being a winner. Sport is the best training ground to give young people skills which are applicable across their whole lives. Our programmes successfully use sport to help young people learn how to win and how to maximise their full potential.
The Foundation, through collaboration with business, education and sport sets young people on a path to self-fulfilment, and helps them believe that it's not how good they are now but how good they want to become.
The charitable objectives of the Foundation are:
- The advancement of the physical education of young people.
- The instructing of research into the culture of winning, increased achievement and/or excellence and the making available to and use by the public.
- The advancement of education.
The Foundation is a registered Scottish charity which is supported by some of Scotland’s most energetic and successful business, political and sporting leaders who share a passion to inspire a cultural change in Scotland. The Foundation’s direct financial freedom allows it to invest in activities that local government or sports agencies are often restricted from embracing. The Foundation is able to identify opportunities which others may have overlooked or been unable to attract to Scotland.
"'Success'- is peace of mind which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you made the effort to become the best of which you are capable"
