The Scottish FA is a lead partner in our five pilot areas, with Fife focusing specifically on football.  We enjoy the full support of Scottish FA chief executive, Gordon Smith.

A full time resource has been co-funded with the Scottish FA and Winning Scotland Foundation to develop and roll-out football specific PCS materials across the pilot areas. Further information on the future development of the programme will be available soon.

Scottish Athletics

Scottish Athletics is a key partner for PCS and we are engaging with a number of local athletics clubs in our pilot areas.

We believe PCS has real potential for shaping and improving the way athletics is taught and coached and are very excited to be a partner.

PCS can help recruit parents and equip our coaches to build a new generation of winners in sport; young people who value winning but who also value the life lessons which they learn through participation.

Scottish Rugby

Scottish Rugby partners PCS and the programme is endorsed by their Head of Coaching Development, Jock Peggie.

 

Scottish Rugby fully supports the role that Positive Coaching Scotland can play in promoting not only the acquisition of rugby skills, but also the development of important life skills through the coaching process, especially within youth coaching programmes.

Fife Football Partnership

A great deal of work has been done between the four Fife Children’s and Youth Football Associations, the SFA Football Development Officers, Fife Council and the SFA East Region Manager to promote the game in Fife.

A Fife Football Partnership has been formed to provide clear and effective player pathways for active participation within the sport for children as young as 6 through to 21 years-old. This will maximise opportunities for everyone in football in Fife to fulfil their potential.
 

Tennis Scotland

Tennis Scotland is delighted to partner and endorse PCS, which will be of vital assistance to their licensed coaches in producing better players and also more well rounded citizens through the lifelong learning experience.

Golf

Mearns Castle Golf Academy is delighted to be a partner organisation in the development of a positive coaching culture in Scotland.
